My man, jump in to this, toss out some opinions.
Race 7.... Tossing Banrock. Hes really good, but there are some really good NYB turf horses. Im not sure hes much better then the 3 I will be using. I will be leaning on 1,3 and using the 8 on one ticket.

Ok 8th race 1 entry looks tough, but thats ok. We are trying to beat Banrock and against Grand Coutier..... Race 8 lean on the 1, back up with the 6..., back up on 1 ticket with the 7,8....

Race 9..... 1,3,6

Tomorrow's NFL opening day my man. If I play it'll be small.

As for your sequence, I don't know if I'd devote serious money to trying to beat Banrock. He loves soft turf and while he wasn't spectacular at Saratoga, he still got the job done over a horse that had a cozier trip. Pennington is tough to swallow at 7-2 or 4-1 considering he was 13-1 last time and he never seems to put two good races together. Straight Story is a little interesting and would probably be the only other horse I'd use, though he'll probably get pressure from Pennington and Hills appears to be trying to put speed into Gimme Credit.

Grand Couturier is more likely to lose IMO. He obviously crushes these on his best day, I've just been pretty disappointed with his races this year. I'm hoping to get a better price on Americain than the 4-1 he was last time, as I'm drawing a line through his Sword Dancer because of the pace dynamic. The fractions should be much softer in this race and he can clearly run all day. Not sure what the hell Winchester was doing in an 8 1/2-furlong race in his return and he would obviously be no surprise. I'd give Colony another shot too but the way Seventh Street was bet today worries me as to what kind of price he'll be.

I know you love Mott and Desormeaux almost as much as Giant's Causeway but what could you possibly find even remotely appealing about Thabazimbi? Was his last not conclusive that he is simply not much horse at all?

I think Colony is a much more likely winner than Thabazimbi and neither probably have great chances.

I'm more interested in the all maiden pick 4. Now that the 2nd is off the turf, I'm hoping it isn't decimated by scratches.
