Our only good playoff pitcher is strapped to a stretcher. At least he is still conscious.

I just saw it. It was pretty ugly. Damn ball bounced into the stands for a ground rule double. To make matters worse, Brokton s.hits the bed late and they lose the game.

I've become immune to that pathetic waste of talent. No matter what the lead is, the guy gives up that many runs exactly. Starts pitching better after it's tied. Same thing happened the Friday before last, and in St. Louis(late July.) That was a game where Kershaw pitched a gem. Yesterday, it was Kuroda (in the hospital after not allowing any runs.) Brox destroys morale. I can tell right away whether we are gunna get beat. When he starts trying to paint the outside with that fastball (to try to get cheap strikes,) I know we're in trouble. I know right away that he's not gunna go after them with power. I'm sure the batters facing him all know it too. When they don't have to look for that rising 98 mph fastball over the plate, then he's toast. Starts throwing that junk, and gets behind in the count. Then misses the outside corner with the fastball(again.) It's not close. It's pathetic. It's like a diagonal line that doesn't come close to being a strike, but he never gives up his addiction to trying to paint that outside edge. Eventually, he gets so far behind that he has to throw something low over the inside of the plate, and they always hit that (seem to be expecting it.) If you look back, you'll see he had a 5 run lead in San Diego, and gave up how many? Exactly 5. He's sick. There's no cure for whatever makes him weak inside. All they can do is keep the bitch isolated in a room(watching 3 Stooges etc.) until it's time to pitch. Make sure he doesn't know how many runs he has to work with (yes, he is this weak inside.)
