Default New York Bred Millionaires

They have their own website, kind of interesting. Think before you click on the link about how many you can come up with.

I have to say, the 2001 Meadowlands Cup that Gander won may be the best race I've ever seen in person. A 3 horse stretch duel the entire last quarter, absolutely awesome. I love that horse. Can't find video of it, have looked everywhere.

Naughty New Yorker is very close to the number as well. He just needs to hit the board in a race, any decent race, and he'll get there. I think he's at $992k.

Default West Virginia

At the bottom of that list is West Virginia by Tomorrows Cat.
We have a 2 yr. old in training at Arlington with CS who is a half to WV by Smarty Jones.... He is getting over sore shins and should be put back to training in a week or two for a debut this fall hopefully. Reports have been good so far.

My favorite is Say Florida Sandy. Only the likes of Commentator can pass over him for second on the list with a good run tomorrow.

Say Florida Sandy won his $2M as a NY-bred in sprints. Purses in sprint races don't compare to those of routes, and he made the money anyway! The only horse in front of him today is a Kentucky Derby/Preakness/Jockey Club Gold Cup winner!

Say Florida Sandy.........what a hickory horse he was!
