Mike Maker must have gotten a hold of him over the all-star break

Other stuff..

1) The Umpire, Eric Cooper, behind the plate today...was also behind the plate when he threw his no-hitter.

2) The last Perfect game was 5 years ago by Randy Johnson against the Atlanta Braves...DeWayne Wise was on the Braves that game.

3) Only 6 pitchers have ever thrown a no-hitter and a perfect game.

4) The catcher, Ramon Castro had never caught Buehrle before.

5) The color commentator, Steve Stone, had never, ever seen a no-hitter in person in his entire life..well..since he threw one at age 12

That will go down in history as one of the top catches ever...over the wall to rob the homer and then the juggle and finally the bare handed grab! He covered a ton of ground even getting to the wall! Given it was the 9th inning to protect the perfect game....well, as they said on Sports Center, could rank second behind Willie's "the catch" in the series!

I think this makes it perfectly clear that the fix was in.

Anyway, I am sure it was a fun game to watch if you are a Sox fan, or if like me, you had Buehrle going in a key fantasy matchup this week.

You had to watch quick. Only took two hours. Unfortunately, the Sox lost two to Detroit today. I cannot wait for the Yankees to get here.

Off-topic.....Where's John, JC, playafromthechi? You know when he said his whole beloved White Sox team came forward willingly to pee in a cup, and Jim Parque came out admitting to taking HGH. What a ruse!!!!

Sorry had to be said.....carry on.

Parque said he did it because he was hurt. To help injuries is the original function of steroids.

Pitched 5 2/3 more perfect innings last night to set the ML record for most hitters retired in a row.
