Default Belmont 2nd......What a joke!!

The 5 Langiappe breaks through the gate and takes a nice little gallop down the track. ADW wagers are then locked in because they were too close to the race beginning. Your stuck with your wagers though it would be another 2-3 minutes before the race would go. Tried to cancel on the phone but of course YOUBET can't process that fast enough......

The game want's to improve the public perception of the honesty of the wagered dollar and they pull crap like this. GD thieves......I'd love to see a stat on winning percentage of horses who break through the gate!! AN automatic cancel IMO for any player who is awake and breathing.

The horse did run a narrow second. I was more surprised that they kept the rest of the field in the gate while they retrieved and brought back the horse who broke through.

That does stink. On a related note that race was the definition of a staggerfest. Everyone on their wrong lead...not a pretty sight. Then again they are 25k maidens.

I didn't think the 5 used herself too much after breaking through the gate but it's never good when it happens.

As bad as the race was, I thought it was a great opportunity since the 1 was overbet at 7-10 and was acting like a nutcase from the moment she stepped on the track. Worst favorite I have seen in a while. After narrowing it down to the 3 and 6, I went with the 6 since it looked like she had a bit more class. With the riders having to come off the 1 and 4 at the gate, I thought I was on to something but she was a non-threatening third. Hard to play any of these next time out regardless of who they face.

1. Live Racing is fun
2. Get a better look in the paddock and post parade than you do on camera
3. You don't have to pay per bet wagers or pay for video
4. It's good to get some sunshine on your body (Vitamin D)
5. more distractions to avoid going on full tilt when you have a bad beat.
6. If you make a bet and want to cancel you can do it with a teller or self service terminal
7. new fans can actually fall in love with racing via the live experience. I don't know many new fans who started following the game from simulcasting (just my experience, i'm sure there are some who have)
8. you can't get annoyed by the announcer as much cause everyone is cheering
9. If you win you get your money right then instead of having to wait days for them to deposit it via their "instant deposits"

those are just some of them!! i know many people like to bet from home and thats great if it works for them. All racing fans and bettors are cool by me, however they want to play

I was just joking around, I certainly enjoy the live track experience from time to time.
