![]() Last weekend to pad your bankroll before the Breeders' Cup and a hefty wallet is a necessity to properly attack the Cup.
Keeneland R7 - G3 Sycamore #5 Good Request - Back to back wins after struggling to break his maiden. Frankel striking while the iron is hot. #4 Transduction Gold - Defending champ is coming off a couple of bang up races in Cali. No BC this year. #8 Phil the Power - ATR connections ship in with hopes of improvement off a very nice 2nd to Delosvientos at MTH last month. #1 Silverfoot - Old guy can still get it done at 8yrs old. Took the Stars N Stripes at AP on the 4th of July. R8 - Alw52K N$Y #3 Highway Patrol - A.P. Indy 4yr old only making career start #3, but is working well for Clement. #2 Isabull - Last seen during the spring when he had Derby aspirations and looks to get his comeback started in a positive way. #5 Evade - Just missed by a nose a couple of weeks ago here versus similar and today the hood comes off. #6 Lion's Circle - Took care of business in 1st Synthetic start and has been improving with every start. R9 - G2 Raven Run #3 Informed Decision - Winner of 4 of 6 career starts which includes a romp at KEE and a stakes win at BEL. #11 Awesome I am - Solid all year and this seems to be her preferred distance. Most recent Gazelle try was too long and Music Note took no prisoners. #5 Dreaming of Liz - Cat/Cal shorten her up and the route to sprint angle has been working well at KEE this meet. Dismiss her two 7/8ths races : one was a two turn stakes race at DeD and the other was on a sloppy track at GP. These wise guys know when to take a shot. #12 Spring Awakening - Should come off the pace to pick up a minor award. R10 - Alw54K N$Y #5 Just Julian - Never has lived up to his $1.6 Million purchase, but few do. Matz has turned him into a turf horse and he seems to prefer the lawn. #4 Quip (Arg) - Shadwell/KMc/Johnny V - tough to leave these guys off your ticket. #7 Gasper Van Wittel - Motion a wizard with these types and adds the lasix to boot. PK4 - 1 4 5 8 / 2 3 5 6 / 3 5 11 / 5 = $48 Calder Race Course R5 - G3 Miami Mile #1 Magic Mecke (BEST BEST) - Makes 1st start in 2008 and is training super for return. Loves this course and distance. If you get anything close to his 6-1 ML take the plunge. R7 - G3 Spend A Buck #5 Sweetnorthernsaint - Over $900K earner didn't care for the turf, but crushed foes in the slop two back. Logical. #1 Gotcha Gold - CC Lopez will have to make a quick decision from the rail and yes he will send him. CC hopes to cut out softer fractions than in the G3 Iselin at MTH where GG got cooked on the front end. #8 Judith's Wild Rush - Makes 55th start and is a deserving millionaire. Not his best distance, but a 3rd place finish is well within his scope. Heavy Tri Key 5 / 1 8 R8 - Florida Stallion In Reality #2 Sincero (Price Play) - Wrongly DQ'd in his maiden race where he was clearly much the best. Solis visiting his old stomping ground has the mount. Connections flirted with having him make his 1st start in the Florida Stallion Affirmed before deciding to scratch. ML 15-1 #1 Big Drama - Will make his presence felt again. #4 Casey's on a Roll - Cat/Cal have another nice runner in their stable. SCR #10 Edgemoor - Made mince meat of his competitors in his maiden stroll going two turns. W/P #2 Ex & Tri Bx 1 2 10 Good Racing Luck
