Default Tonights early double at Mountaineer

Tonights 1st race is a 5k maiden claimer in which i woudn't give 5k if they gave me the whole field and threw in a bag of oats. How the 7 horse has never gone off at over 99-1 is a mystery to me.With that said i'm going to single the 8 coming from Bay Meadows and now in the hands of Dale Baird. In the 2nd i'm using the 3,4,6,and 9.I would have singled the 4 but i don't know how bad he's gotten. He's been away for 8 months but his lines in California would crush these.I will proceed with caution in the early double. The bet 8/3,4,6,9.Good luck.

In tonights late double i'm going to use 3 horses in the 9th race. The 2,3 and 8.The 2 because he's staying in the same class of NW2.The 3 because he's coming out of the same race as the 7 on June 16th where it appears he tried to make a middle move on the inside and flattened out where the 7 just laid back and seems to have just passed tired horses. The 8 could be the speed or be very close to the pace and has done well at Mountaineer. In the 10th i'm going to single the 6.The 9 looks like he'll try to go as far as he can but i think the 7 can take some starch out of him.The last race for the 6 was a cancelled grass race and he ran allright.Previous to that he lost 3 times to the same horse. But here is the kicker. He's been running in money races.Tonight the conditions are NW1 since Jan 30th.He beat NW3 on Jan 23rd.Trainer must of read the condition book. The bet 2,3,8/6.Then i will press a little extra on 3,8/6.Good luck.

Not a bad run out of the 6 horse in the 10th, just not good enough tonight to beat the winner ... I think they let the 6 go at about 12-1

I'll bump up esterdays thread with a shot at Monday nights 1st DD. I'll go with 4/ 4,8,6. as usual looking for value and feel the 10 in the first can't get the lead, but now watch him go get it! 4 in 2nd race seems to have breeding and offers value. Good luck tonite!

6 minutes to post in the 3rd, they announce it off the turf. WTF is going on down there, not the first time this happened. No rain I can see. All the bets are in, no cancelling allowed. Sheesh.
