![]() Another slow dog day at work. Took a look at what seems to be a tough sequance which includes 2/ 25,000 maiden claimer races. Hopefully we can do a little better than the chalky $297 payout we got last Friday night.
RACE 1 #1 ANGELETTA-Hollendorfer filly has been has been close her last few starts and I think the extra distance will be good for her. Consistant beyers plus hopefully being able to save ground by being on the rail. Does lose Bejerano to the 3, but picks up Rosario who is winning at a 43% clip when riding for Mr. H. #4 EXCLUSIVE DANIELLE-She should be on the lead and try to go wire to wire. She might have some pressure from the 5 to her outside. She has hit the board in all 4 of her starts at Hollywood and all 3 starts at the distance. #6 BYE BYE LADIES-The shades come off this 6 year old making her 2nd start in the Mullins barn. Stalk/Closer type should be in good position at the top of the stretch. She finished a neck in front of the 1 last time out. Beware of the #3MARK SET GO Picks up Bejerano, looks like she had some trouble in the last 2 and should be in a good stalking spot . Raffie is winning at a 40% clip when riding for Mike Mitchell. Right now I am not using her, but there is a chance I switch her with the 4. RACE 2 #2 PASS ME THE SUGAR-First start in 11 months for this filly that did not run badly, showed some speed and took some money in her debut in a maiden 62k race. A couple of good drills for a trainer who is winning at a 32% clip in his 2nd starts. Picks up Smokin Joe who is winning at 41% when riding for Koriner. #4 CHARLOTTA-Taking a stab at 1 of only 3, 4 year olds in the race. Didn't run bad in her last race for 32k and taking a slight drop. She was near a quick pace last time and wasn't disgraced, expect her to be close to the pace again. #8 SPRING CATCH-2 near misses since coming off the bench of the lightly raced Neil French barn. Another 4 year old that looks like she could run from on or off the pace. Most likely favorite and probably single on some tickets. I am taking a stand against the 12 SERBIANA, picking up T. Baze. She will be on or near the lead. I am hoping she gets a wide trip and ends up out of the win slot. RACE 3 #2 KALOOKAN DANCER-Looks like the lone speed in the race, drilled a 1:12 in her last workout on the 14th of June. The only question is the layoff for a low % trainer. #4 LEMON KISS-Probable single/odds on favorite for the combo of Hollendorfer and Bejerano. She has won her last 2 races. This is her 2nd start of a layoff and has 2 bullet works heading into this race. Only other note is that she has never raced on a synthetic track before (the last bullet of 1:11 was at Hollywood park). RACE 4 #2 HASTY COURT-This is the bottom for this 160k purchase. Has decent Beyers compared to much of this field. A couple of good works going into his 4th career start. Hopefully he can avoid some of the trouble that it seems that he encounted in his first few races. #6 STAG ON THE RUN-Burned up some money as the favorite last time when running for 32k. 3rd place finisher of that race won next time out. His 75 Beyer 2 back is the best of this field, the winner of that race also came back to win next out. He should be near the front of this group that really doesn't have any speedballs. #14 FIRE SCOUT-2nd time starter for the Koriner/Talamo connections(see gaudy numbers above), that showed some speed in his 1st start and took some money. Tough post, but looking to add a possible price. NOTE:The A/E horses do warrant a look if they draw into the race. 1)1,4,6 2)2,4,8 3)2,4 4)2,6,14 $1 pick4 $54 GOOD LUCK TO EVERYONE!

![]() I wanted to single the chalk in the 3rd leg but i can't pull the trigger. First time poly and Kalookan Dancer looks to be the loan speed in the race.....probably gonna use them both
i was glancing over the PP's at lunch and i think my structure is gonna be something like 2x4x2x4 tonight Although there are some big price horses in both those maiden races i'd like to use as well.... -bt- |

![]() I wouldn't leave out Serbiana in the 2nd. The cutback in distance and the rider switch should get her a more patient ride today.

I'm going to single the chalk in the 3rd, even though it may kill my ticket. I just can't find a more inexpensive way to play the early pk. 4 1) 1, 4, 6 2) 5, 8, 12 3) 4 4) 6,7,15,16 (if eligible) $36 |

![]() #9 Rock the Rock in the 6th. . .
The trainer's not particularly good with firsters but this horse has superior turf breeding and a nice work-tab. The fact that he's debuting at 4 isn't ideal but he seems to be on track now and may be more mature than the 3 year-olds. If he's anywhere close to his 12-1 morning line he's worth a flyer. |

#7 Excuse last out.... comes back with 2 fast works. I still think the #2 is the horse to beat in that race, but 30-1 looked nice against the world beaters #6 Cause, high priced colt for a lightly raced trainer, decent works like i said, just a thought, it's not like i'm putting a g-bar on them R1) PK3/PK4 16 258 12 24 268 13 gl all -bt- |
