Bolger isn't winning himself many friends. Even I think this u-turn smells a bit fishy.

Certainly spices the Derby up, though.

The Irish should win both the Oaks and the Derby, the problem is finding which one.. Murtagh is apparantly very confident about all of O'Brien's colts but CC and NA should lead them home..

just going through some of the field now..

I just wonder how Curtain Call can be so low in the betting, he won a nothing race earlier on this year, and was found out against the best last year. Id much prefer a horse like Doctor Fremantle or Tartan Bearer..

At the moment, id be predicting in finishing order Casual Conquest, New Approach, one from O'Brien's ( I actually think Washington Irving will do the best of his bunch!)

I agree, I don't fancy Curtain Call whatsoever, but plenty of people seemingly do, so it has me kinda confused. Have we missed something her, brock? I couldn't have him winning this if he started today!

New Approach is the class of the race, and as long as he handles Epsom, I think he will probably win. I'm a fan of the horse, but I must say, the way Jim Bolger has slated our version of the Oaks and Derby, I'd probably prefer it if he got beaten.

I've actually backed Dr Fremantle each way ante post. I know his form is nothing out of the ordinary, but he seems in the same sort of mould as Kris Kin to me. I was impressed with the way he won at Chester.
