Default Iron Horse

She went by the name Iron Horse here but her real name was Jeanne and a lot of us knew her from other forums.

A very cool lady... the type who would send an email or a pm when she thought something wasn't right or something sad had happened. The type who was always there if you needed a friend. The type who always reminded you that life is short and to be happy... to do what ever it was that would make you happy.

She was funny and loving, she loved the horses, she'd lived so much for someone her age and once told me about seeing Jimi Hendrix with such enthusiasm and in such detail..... she was a wonderful writer who loved life, her family and friends, and grey horses in particular.

I'm not doing her justice here but i wanted to post somethng... she deserved something.

She left suddenly and unexpectedly and some of us, today is hard for some of us now.

She will be missed.

Jeanne was all that was aforementioned and more ... A lady of soul, heart ,and convictions ...
Her love of racing was balanced by her concern for the future well being of the horse ...
In the wake of this sad and premature loss, I will save a slaughterbound horse for Jeanne---a grey, of course, as those were her favorites ...

Mine too. That's a very nice thing for you to do, by the way.

A caring lady who would always try and help. Someone I wished to meet one day just to say thank you.

She would go out of her way to offer help and advice.

A a new star is now in the night sky.

I will miss you, Jeanne.
