Default 3/5: Aqueduct ($266k C/O)

Oversized carryover pot at Aqueduct to kick off the race week with $266k in the coffers and pool likely to more than triple. Card is tricky but approachable with 3 maiden claimers, a bottom level straight tag event and two good OC/ALW's...

AQUEDUCT

Post-SCRATCHES

4th: NYB-MDN CLM, 3+, 6f (P6, P3)

Tough start to sequence with odd set of state-bred whatnots..

Most Likely: #2 Dadoway 7-2: Reasonable single as wire threat.. WON
Next Best: #1 Ferdie's Prince 8-5: Doesn't improve, doesn't get worse.. 2nd
Best Value: #3 Lunaticonthegrass 15-1: Not hopeless; Returns to Empire foes.. 5th
Exotics Add: #5 SCR

5th: CLM, F&M-4+, 6f (P3, G/S, Super)

Bottom rung collection with leaps of faith required to get several laurels; Earhart rounding back into form that could be more than enough to run these down under multiple imagined pace scenarios..

Most Likely: #7 Earhart 4-1: Rounding toward peak effort; Back quick.. 2nd
Best Value: #5 Texas Starlet 9-2: Toss last v. real horses; Fits this level.. 3rd
Next Best: #8 Double Delta 3-1: Parisella returns to price of last win..WON
Exotics Add: #4 Embraceable You 5-2: Drops again; Threat from 'turnaround' barn.. 8th

6th: MDN CLM, 3yo, 1m-70y (P4, DD, Super)

Most Likely:#6 Pure Devil 7-2: Dutrow/4 Roses gelding being given away..WON
Best Value: #7 Groovy Kid 9-2: Threat on last if Small ships in.. 2nd
Next Best: #9 My Song 5-2: Not entirely lone speed, but speed.. 8th
Exotics Add: #1 Park and Ride 12-1: Inside for 2nd start; Likely to move forward.. 3rd

7th: OC/N1X, 3yo, 1m-70y (P3)

Day's best event falls apart with scratches..

Most Likely:#2 SCR
Best Value: #5 SCR
Next Best: #1 Elixer 4-1: Trainer on crazy roll; 1a SCR.. 2nd

8th: OC/N2X, F&M-4+, 6f (DD)

Most Likely: #1 Ghost Dancing 3-5: Square choice as sextet single.. 2nd
Best Value: #5 What's Your Point 4-1: Closer to ML fave than odds reflect.. WON
Next Best: #2 Alotofappeal 6-1: Eligible for better on return to dash.. 4th

9th: NYB-MDN CLM, 3+, 6f (Super)

Most Likely: #4 Jets Only 3-1: Only off board 2x in 9 tries; Maybe today? 8th
Best Value: #5 Key Victory 10-1: Will be overlooked; Cuts back, drops down.. 7th
Next Best: #7 Timber Ferry 9-2: Levine again, and adds karma moves.. 3rd
Exotics Add: #2 Fast Wheels 7-2: Dutrow firster gets Ramon; Working regularly.. WON

Core P6 Play (with ticket building/backup options):

4: 2-6 (1-3)
5: 5-7-8
6: 6-7 (1-9)
7: 1 (6)
8: 1-5 (3)
9: 4-5 (2-7)

BASE: 2x3x2x1x2x2 = 48 x $2 = $96

P4 Play:

6: 1-6-7-9
7: 1
8: 1-3-5
9: 2-4-5-7-9

4x1x3x5 = $60

Good luck!
Steve

Encouraging first race for those hoping for a fair surface...

Quite a ride as far inside as you can get by the Morales kid on the winner... Wow.

Thx Rick..

I ended up adding Ommaddon to the play who I thought was a possible upsetter on the comeback instead of singling Dadoway as originally suggested... Good start.

G/L to you and to any that are involved.

One of the stranger races I have ever seen, no way did I think he would win. Was it the rail or did Dominguez somehow just get him to start running again?

That horse looked like he was toast turning for home. I was surprised too when he found another gear.
