![]() Hard to believe that Dreaming of Anna ran a 91 not the BSF mean all that much on turf.

![]() She galloped on an easy lead and the first half was real slow but 91 for her and the place horse is awful low historically.
I don't much about figs but it just seemed a bit light..What do I know? |

It's pretty much the same number Lear's Princess earned in both her turf starts. |

![]() There's nothing to defend one way or another. It's an inane conversation. You're trying to split hairs on turf figs, which are essentially meaningless, and you have absolutely no understanding of them anyway.
We all know Lear's Princess is a nice horse who ran a solid race off the layoff. Whether she ran a 90, 95, or 100 you are still going to consider her a serious threat wherever she runs next. As for Dreaming of Anna, she's a nice horse, no worldbeater, but if she can set her own pace, against modest competition, she is usually dangerous. Would you feel differently about her if she ran a 98? |

![]() I know they are basically meaningless and said as much..
I just thought 91 was weird looking. I agree 100% with your assessment of DoA and the other mare. both are very good at doing what they can do. |

He was the 20/1 winner of the $20K MSW run two races after the Endeavour (also at 8.5f on the turf). His time was 1.5 seconds slower than Dreaming of Anna. |

![]() This is where a BSF can be mis-leading. If you get a chance, check out the replay of Eight Belles in the Martha Washingtong at OP. One of the most impressive sweeps around the turn I've ever seen. Might have been a bad field, but her last victory at FG was just as impressive and she got a 100 BSF. I think she's better than the Baffert filly - Indian Blessing. Larry Jones looking good with his girls.

![]() Many turf races are run with pokey pace fractions anyway, never liked turf beyers as horses basically run 1/4 mile sprints. I prefer to look at who the horses are running against and their trips - good/bad.
