Looks like Calder is the place to be. I did not pay any attention to this day of racing last year and after a quick scan thru the entries I am much looking forward to this day. I might just have to up my gambling budget for the weekend.

I heard Jerry Bailey mention during a broadcast recently that he always had a concern with the Calder Surface, apparently it is a sand base? This was in reference to his capping a race he was in.
