Default Gottcha Gold

Does anybody know what the Breeders' Cup plans are (if any) for this horse? I kind of forgot about him because he hasn't raced since August, but then I saw where he turned in a sharp 5f work at Monmouth on October 5th (1/11).
Are they considering him for the Classic?
Personally I don't think he would have much of a shot in there with the big boys (especially coming off a 2-month layoff) but given his nice efforts over that track this summer - including one at 9f - and the fact that he has a pretty good 10f pedigree, I could see them taking a shot.
If he goes, does that kill any chance Hard Spun might have had to wire the field?

I thought they were considering the Dirt Mile.

That would make sense, but on the Brisnet PPs (http://horseracing.about.com/gi/dyna...%3Dbreederscup) they list him among the potential starters for the Classic but NOT for the mile. Some horses - like Zanjero and Hard Spun - are listed as potential starters for both races but Gottcha Gold is only listed in the Classic.
I don't know if that means anything or not.

I wouldn't read too much into that. I assume they could pre-enter in both but unless there are a couple defections there is no way I can see this horse going in the Classic.

He will be killer in the Dirt Mile, and I expect he'll be overlooked again like he was in the Iselin. I like this horse's progression...

Zanjero is not going to either, GG is going to the Dirt Mile (and 70y) and should be brutal there.
