Default 7/15: Belmont/Delaware

Have been slightly swamped with transition of "At the Races" to Upstate NY; the trip to Arlington for Sumwonlovesyou, and preparations for Saratoga with Carolina Barbecue.. Sorry for the dearth of Selections... Very fun card at Belmont today with an excellent edition of the Bowling Green as the lynchpin. Delaware has the 2nd day of big stakes as well with an 'all-feature' P4 looking like a good play... Also, note that the 2nd leg of the Canadian Triple Crown goes this aft at Fort Erie with the $500,000 Prince of Wales...

Thanks for the selections, Steve. I'll check if the squirrells at DEL agree (they work for peanuts). Might want to watch the top of the card to see how the track is playing. In 7 of the 10 races yesterday, including the upset in the Oaks, the horse on the lead at the first pole won.

I can see anywhere's between 9/5 - 5/2...I think Prado, Velazquez, and Rose's mounts will take some money as well.

Great job in the 8th, Steve, hitting the stone cold tri. Is that a generous pick 4 payout or is it me? My assesment of S and F's post time odds were waaay off.

Thanks...

The Delaware linesmaker does a TREMENDOUS DISERVICE to bettors with the horrible job making lines like he did on Smart and Fancy.. Not reflecting how dominant that one was there scares people off from appropriately judging when formulating plays. 9-2? She looked 1-2 there to me... I'm waiting to see the race (Ch. 12 up here), but I didn't see how she could lose.

Folks, it is of this person's opinion that the best bet you get make this year, and possible of the century is a 1-5 exacta box at Belmont.

5-1 is paying $44
1-5 is paying $66

If you are broke, go sell blood in the next 4 minutes and get to your local OTB, PRONTO
