![]() i see that Exonerated is bred by Joseph L. Bruno. Is this the same individual that is the majority leader of the NYS Senate ? i guess it wouldn't hurt the NYRA if Bruno's filly won. Good PR for the franchise bid i suppose.

![]() Yeah, I heard there was a NYRA Board meeting today and everybody agreed to fix the race so a horse bred, but not owned, by Joseph Bruno would win.
I can't believe the story got out this fast. |

![]() the owner of Exonerated, Earl I. Mack, is a big donor to the GOP according to this web site...
http://www.opensecrets.org/bush/ambassadors/mack.asp and to provide some context, Earl I. Mack has been a horse owner, not of just Exonerated, for a number of years. here's a story from the Albany Times Union mentioning Exonerated...what this all means I personally have no clue. http://timesunion.com/ASPStories/Sto...07&BCCode=MBTA in any event Exonerated is a nicely bred filly and should factor in the race on her own merits. Did you recommend a huge spread triple play keying the horse in third? |
