Default Travel advice?

The ball-and-chain and I are planning to drive him and his stuff back from Orlando to NYC after his contract at Disney ends. Any suggestions of pretty routes or worthwhile things to see along the way? I'm renting a car for a week so we don't have to rush back.

I75 to atlanta, I75 to chattanooga, knoxville, I81 north to I78 back into nyc. OR

I75 to atlanta, I85 to I26 to ashville and stop and see the Biltmore House, then take the old road through the smoky mnts (i think it's SR441) to gatlinburg, pigeon forge, sevierville and pick up I40 to I81 north.

... and I haven't been to the ocean in ages...

I'll have to put the Biltmore on the list, for sure, now that there are two votes for it. Hooray for road trips!

Don't know when this trip is taking place, but this week's forecast calls for upper 80's (not bad for this time of year), and it will rain, at least for a while, every afternoon.

Unless you were extremely drunk while posting and were attempting to post the way you'd be speaking, though in that case I'd have suggested, "Thiinnkkk whaaa iiiissssshhhhh shays abouts yoouuuuuu."
