Its mission is to assist in the placement of former Finger Lakes race horses with equine adoption agencies or approvedprivate individuals, giving these horses a second chance at productive lives. During the summer of 2007, a stand alone adoption facility willbe built on the grounds of Finger Lakes, making it the first thoroughbred adoption facility to be built on the grounds of a racetrack."

Very good news. Felix M (I won't give his last name) has lead the placement of horses in need of a new home for a long time. seems that others have taken to the cause. A tip of the hat to all.
