![]() a team with Curry, Crawford, the franchise, Starubury, Q, lil nate, and the rest of the young talented crew can suck so much. They really surprised me at how bad they are

Some of those guys are average-above average, but not worth what we gave away. Also the Wolves have no expiring contracts except for Ricky Davis. He can be really good at times, but he has attitude issues. It's a contract year for him, and he'll play out of his mind good, and then the Wolves will be dumb enough to break the bank on him. So between having no draft picks for the next 2 years (after this draft), having no cap room, and McHale saying he has no intentions of trading Garnett (which I don't believe... he has to), he is the worst GM in the NBA. BUT!- MY OPINION DOESN'T MATTER, BECAUSE FORBES MAGAZINE RATED HIM THE BEST GM IN ALL OF PROFESSIONAL SPORTS. Matt Millen must've come in at #2, with Isiah a close 3rd. So I must not know what I'm talking about.

I'm not a big Knicks fan by any stretch but don't they have a fairly eccentric owner (some daddymoney guy)? That's probably their biggest problem. |

Too bad Thomas isn't a good coach. I loved the guy as a player. Everyone would always point to Laimbeer and Mahorn as rough players on those Pistons teams. Noone played rougher than Thomas. |

![]() This is one of the sad stories in the NBA. Here you have the greatest city in the world, a city that loves basketball, and you give the people this kind of product. It really is upsetting to me as a fan that a city like this cant put out a decent product.
BTW, Memphis and Boston got what they deserved with the ping-pong balls. They found out why the lottery was made using what I think is a good method to keep teams from tanking. Boston is also a very sad story. All those great teams and the fans get treated to Paul Pierce every night. The Northeast really needs a decent team other than New Jersey. An east v. west coast rivalry again would be a good thing. If Utah plays Cleveland in the finals we might have all time low ratings in the US. Heck, San Antonio v. Detroit may bring all time low ratings... for a diff. reason. |

![]() I really have a tough time these days watching the NBA. I believe the reason is that the product is just average compared to the way the leauge was in the 80's and 90's. There are some excellent players in the leauge now, but besides Lebron and Kobe the leauge has no buzz. In the 80's and 90's there was so many players Jordan, Magic, Bird, Ewing, Olajuwon, Wilkins, Barkley, Malone etc. Not only the players, it was easy to be passionate about the teams. I loved the Knicks, but I also loved to hate the Pacers and the Pistons. I loved watching teams like the Celtics, Bulls, Hawks, Lakers. It was a great Product. Maybe the product stinks because all guys know how to do is take 3's and dunk, but compared to the 80's & 90's todays game stinks!
