Default Anyone notice.. "8-7-3" ?

A very plausible '8-7-3" trifecta in the Preakness today (Street Sense, Hard Spun, Circular Quay), would be a repeat of last year's "8-7-3" triple of Bernardini, Sweetnorthernsaint, Hemingway's Key...

Interesting..

I'm surprised my advisor, Mystic Zelda, didn't include this in her daily briefing today.

Also to consider, you might notice that there is a pattern lately where there is a Derby-Preakness Champ 3 years in a row, followed by a 2 year lull.

97- Silver Charm
98- Real Quiet
99- Charismatic
00-none
01-none
02- War Emblem
03- Funny Cide
04- Smarty Jones
05- none
06- none
07-Street Sense??

The steely blue eyes were starting to get to me, although I admit he's quite easy on the eyes. I must have physically bumped into the poor guy at least 4-5 times at Keeneland, probably thought I was a groupie/stalker
