There's been a lot of brillance I've read today in my quest to find some worthwhile information.....

David Grening, one of the few guys who isn't horrible, wrote

"Jockey John Velazquez, the rider of Ready’s Image, said his filly had trouble handling the slop

``Big time,’’ he said. ``It’s amazing we were third. I didn’t think we were going anywhere.’’

Of course, Ready's Image may have been beaten by a pair of fillies....but he is no filly himself.

All the mistakes aside---it would be nice if we could get information we need to know from these guys.....instead of the human interest stories, the empty trainer quotes, and the rehashing of lame old trends and stats you hear every year.

Clyde Van Duesen

Even the good publications are making mistakes... I got my Bloodhorse yesterday and they noted in an article about him that Prado is 39 years old but in the bio section on him it has his birthday listed as June 12, 1957... 39 or 49, which is it going to be?

Personally, he doesn't look a day over 29 to me
