Yes, she is! Last year, I got to Louisville in time to watch the Oaks on television at the hotel. This year, I will watch Rags and Anna and Octave do their thing, watching the big screen from the stands at Arlington (opening day). Those are my picks

I've got a sentimental attachment to Cotton Blossom.

Hard to dispute a bullet work like that for DOA, though.

Wow, this is almost as big as the news that Bwana Bull is going in the Derby. I simply don't know how I'm going to get a moments rest all week.

I have a soft spot in my heart for Anna because of her story, how she was named and stuff like that. I'm not necessarily a fan of Catalano, who once disposed of my favorite horse in a claimer. Fortunately, my favorite horse has returned to Chicago, trained by someone else, and winning too!

I'm one of those vocal women who will sit at the track or OTB and chant, An-na, An-na, and have everyone around me throwing stuff at me.

as much as I love DOA...and have been a big fan of hers since early on, 2 things come to mind.

1. She was a very solid 2YO, but others seem to caught up to her,

and

2. Her turn of foot on the turf looks different than on the dirt.

Although she owns a win over the Churchill dirt, reason #1 will be the most likely reason I leave her off my ticket, especially at what will most likely be a short price.

but if churchill does the same prep on the track that they did last fall........
i'm surprised she is running-don't like to see late additions, last moment inclusions. regardless of what her work was just now, if she wasn't aiming for this for weeks, and hasn't got the proper conditioning, i'd hate to see her (or anyone, this happens so much this time of year) put in a spot she shouldn't be in, just because it's that week in may.
