Remembering Barbaro

I just left a site where there was discussion about this story:

Seems that some folks just don't understand that there are thoroughbred fans who really cared about Barbaro.
One of the quotes was, "these people need to get a life."
Needless to say, I left the "conversation". Some folks just don't "get it".

Anyway, happy birthday Big Guy. Take another jaunt to the victory circle in the sky. You'll always be in my heart for showing the courage and spirit of the essence of our great sport.

And, thanks to those that read this for tolerating my "rant". I'm still shaking my head.
