Default Where are?

The Maker's Mark Mile threads?

Did no one want to talk about Kip Deville beating Showing Up?

Kimmeastar would have posted if Kep Deville had finished up the track. If you can't degrade a California horse, no sense posting, I guess.

Nice run by Bordonaro yesterday, too.

I'm not a Californian, but this continual lambasting of one Coast's horses vs another's is pretty silly, to use the kindest word I can think of.

Tagg said Showing Up was two works short for the race but he just wanted to get a race into him.
8f is probably Kip D's best distance, while Showing Up will probably be best going 9f-10f, so I don't think SU's performance yesterday indicates that he will have a poor year. I expect him to be back in top form in his next start.
That being said, it was still a nice performance from Kip D, who seems like he will be a strong grass miler this year.

Why would you consider Kip Deville a California horse? He's raced every where in the U.S. it seems.. just as my point of view, I believe California has an inflated grade scale because how how dominant they were at one point, however I believe the product is down, especially the turfers.

poor richard migliore, pulls off kip deville to run for 100k less in purse money....and then kip wins. but i'm sure he enjoyed the ride on bordonaro.

But Prado is Dutrow's main man and the Mig was just filling in for him while
Dutrow had small string in SoCal. Personally I think Bordonaro will make more
of impact than KD will the rest of the year

As for Bayeaux, I have only seen the pan shot but he looked like he had some real traffic late and might have been best, I have to see the head on.
He still hasn't lost at a mile since his second start at Remington Park. Now that they've figured out to keep him at a mile he is extremely dangerous.

i love showing up.........it was his first race of the year, his trainer said he was short works, and it was not even close to his best distance, he barley gets beat by a horse who was coming off of a grade 1 win, taking nothing away from kip deville but i think showing up is tons the best horse out of these 2
