ROI Results 9/06 @ Kentucky Downs

The green green grass of Kentucky Downs was a boon to a few players bankrolls. Three players
had nice hits and it was a somewhat close battle for the top spot with Ruffian getting the bettor of
Joly B. Cal takes the third spot with a superfecta box in race 7 featuring the $34+ Epic Ride. It
was worth $178.36 for a dime and a profit of $78.76. Joly B takes second place with an exacta
wager in the same race. JB's exacta payed a stellar $47.32 for each buck and Joly had it 12 times.
With Epic Ride on top I thought the payout was a tad bit low but it's just one mans opinion. Ruffian
did not take an Epic Ride but the Cheetah Lady found a bettor path. In race 3 the Cheetah won
with a win mutuel of $47.32 and a big profit of $491.50 besting JB by $51 Congrats on the KD

I think the payoff in Race 7 might have been caused by late wagering. I noticed that the 13 went in the gate at 7/2, but shortly after the start, he went down to 7/5. Always frustrating to see that happen, but still it was a nice payoff. I would have been very glad to have it a few more times. Any time I can eke out a few dollars at Kentucky Downs, I'm happy.
