David Cohen is riding at an all-turf meet? That's outstanding. Clearly, no one has paid attention to how abysmal he is on turf.
Saratoga 2012: 1-45, $0.34 ROI Belmont Spring-Summer 2012: 5-77, $0.66 ROI Aqueduct Spring 2012: 1-26, $0.63 ROI Aqueduct Fall 2011: 3-37, $0.56 ROI Belmont Fall 2011: 5-56, $1.44 ROI That's 15-241 in the last year in NY. |

I have a friend who mentioned that to me last week. He was somewhat excited since he is coming to Kentucky after riding on a "major circuit". After I told him I would bet on John McKee (who he considers the Anti-Christ) before David Cohen, he changed his tune a little.
Rain is expected off and on until Saturday, when a T-storm or 2 might pop up. Hope it stays away. I look forward to this meet every year. Purses are up, 2 days of racing added, and all the races on the first day have double-digits entries. At least things are looking good in this part of the state (for now).....

I just want the rain to stay away during the racing so I don't get soaked at my regular hangout down by the finish line.....

Both were McPeek 2 year olds. Maybe they are rebounding from the abysmal Keeneland meeting.
