Stupid Gulfstream, how can they schedule the Donn so that they only give a horse 9 weeks to recover for the World Cup?

Is Midnight Lute still pointing to the Carter? Could be a good one with at least 4 G1 winners if ML, Dahher, Spring at Last, and Commentator all show up. Beats the heck out of Bishop Court Hill winning it.

I believe Midnight is still being there too. If all goes well this weekend I imagine Chatain will show up as well.

That's great news. Maybe the Carter and Met will be exciting this year. Daaher is supposed to be pointing there as well ( for whatever that proves to be worth ).

If Daaher is there, I fully expect to see a good effort from him. Wouldn't be at all surprised to see a win.

What if Commentator is there as well? Would make it unlikely Daaher would get his dream trip.

I'm not sure that Daaher has to get a lonely lead to win. It certainly helped his cause in the Cigar but I thought he showed some fight in the Jerome, albiet against far lesser. I think that the return to one-turn could help him return to form.

He's got to be trolling.

I'm still nostalgic about when he lectured me about Chatain being a much better router than sprinter last year, because Penna said so - while posting under the PG1985 moniker.

If Commentator won the JCGC and Whitney, I'd hope they'd have enough sense to run him in the Classic instead of the Mile.

How many of these top horses that go bad ever really come back to top form? When I say go bad, I mean like Daaher this year or Flower Alley as a 4yo. Once these good ones throw in a real stinker, even one, that is usually the end.
