Default 12/5: Hollywood ($172k C/O)

Murderously difficult sequence awaits intrepid P6 players at Hollywood Wednesday with likely $1,200,000+ pool as bait. Three quirky maiden affairs, 2 headscratching claiming events and the rescheduled Hermosa Beach marathon comprise the sextet, and while some potential singles appear employable, nothing resembles a layover.

HOLLYWOOD

3rd: Cal-bred MSW, 3+, 1m-T (P6, P3, DD, Super)

Hard to love 5-2 ML fave (#6) Brian the Bold who has failed to win amid myriad of pace scenarios, surfaces and distances.. Including in backup play only..

Best Value: #7 Lost Paradise 5-1: Moves to lawn; Keeps Talamo..
Most Likely: #10 Apolplectic 5-1: Zucker gelding must work out trip; Lost ground last..
Next Best: #5 Dee's Fling 6-1: 2nd off long layoff; Adds blinks..

P6 Considerations: #4 Northern Diplomat 20-1: 2nd grass try last was best yet.. #1 Shantivan 10-1: Drysdale debuter not craziest inclusion with lawn-taking likely..

4th: CLM, 3+, 5.5f (P3, DD, Super)

Best Value: #1 My Master 12-1: West loves this 8yo; Zippy drills and cozy draw..
Most Likely: #12 Call or Raise 3-1: Cost $285k 'new'; Drops for hot Mitchell..
Next Best: #8 Dark Past 5-1: California.. Where $10k claimers go in 1:08..

P6 Considerations: #9 Hemet 6-1: Skidding Monteleone can get off schneid with layoff 4yo who should get pace to chase.. #5 Smoke N Wagers 15-1: Beaten 1L versus several here last; Love the 6f drill 11/24..

5th: MSW, 2yo-F, 8.5f (P4, P3, DD, Super)

Best Value: #7 Shy Baby 5-1: O'Neill red better last two-turning..
Most Likely: #1 Tates Queen 7-2: Harty DistHumor bay gets optic adjustment..
Next Best: #5 Life at Ten 5-2: Pletcher Malibu Moon bulleted, stretches and adds Gomez..

P6 Considerations: #6 Skylighter 3-1: Hard to exclude Frankel-Stonerside bay stretching out off green debut, 6f drill.. #2 Iaintnobunnyrabbit 12-1: Hendricks strong with layoffs like this and grey has worked 3 miles since 2nd start 4th (by 3L) at 71-1 in October..

6th: CLM, 3+, 5.5f (P3, DD, Super)

Best Value: #12 Lord Albion 8-1: Carava continually grabs back 9yo who knows where line is..
Most Likely: #6 Count Orange 7-2: Drops and West a stunning 4 for 8 going turf-to-rubber..
Next Best: #3 Gray Black N White 6-1: T2D Canani 6yo at lowest price; Sharp a.m. effort on view..

P6 Considerations: #8 Evanston 6-1: Note sharp works for return from 13 month break; May be well-spotted here and gets respect from oddsmaker.. #2 Ghosttrapper 9-2: Sherman 4yo back to tag price; Liking strip in morning..

7th: Hermosa Beach H., F&M-3+, 12f-T (DD)

8th: Cal-bred MDN CLM, 3+, 6f (Super)

Best Value: #2 Umber 12-1: Curran-Eisman bay gone a year; Sharpened nicely for return..
Most Likely: #3 Familiar Stranger 5-2: Sadler grab from Mullins looks ready..
Next Best: #6 Media Maker 6-1: Gelding bows for hot Puype; May not have to be much..

P6 Considerations: #16 Power Blend 9-2: Koriner gone nearly 12 months; Showed some late kick in NoCal debut.. #4 High Investment 8-1: Sherlock got big improvement last time gelding went Route/Sprint..

P6 Play:

3: 7-10
4: 1-12
5: 1-5-7
