The terms of Biancone's agreement are that none of the horses in his care may remain in the care of anyone with whom Biancone has a financial relationship. The idea is that an assistant cannot take over the operation for a year.

The most priceless quote of the week had to be Terry Finley whining on the Bloodhorse's site about how "uncomfortable" it's been because of the Biancone situation and the fact that West Point continued to have him train Irish Smoke. Hello!! It's supposed to be uncomfortable when you associate with these characters. Finley wants to fancy himself an industry leader; his conduct only illustrates that he is part of the problem.

I believe that Lakin chose Biancone and he and Terry are now in cahoots with their big pinhooking deal so he may not have wanted to make waves...

I believe that Lakin had Greater Good in the Derby a few years ago. Greater Good was trained by Bob Holthus.

you never know. old patrick might come back from his suspension, and hit the tc trail with a top three year old...all will be forgiven, he'll be pure as the driven snow.
