really really dumb question

coming from a definite non bettor...

let's say I'm going to Arlington today...can I make a bet on the Derby from there TODAY and just hang on to the winning ticket(which of course I will have), or do I have to get the ticket the day the race is run or from an OTB?

yes the have a derby wager today and no you can hang on to the winner for about 6 months i think

Derby Betting will be available at Arlington today AND you can hold on to it for 6 months-1 year, not sure which one....
