derby 'bookend' contest

we talked about something like this on another thread, so what the heck...if there is interest that is.

'derby first and last' contest. pick the winner, and the last place horse. all picks in this thread please, prior to the post parade.

put up a first, and a last place choice. alt allowed for a scratch only.

in the event that more than one person gets both correct, i will have a tiebreak (names in a hat!).

the winner will get a book about all the derby winners from aristides to barbaro. it's hardcover, just came out. pics, write-up on each derby winner...

if no one picks both--closest to getting both will be the winner.
