Default Brit stewards fine jockey £5000 for not trying.

So when is this rule going to be enforced in the states?

Will stewards then have to fine trainers for not trying when they ride Mike Smith?

How about Desormeaux in at least 75% of the races where he doesn't have a chance to win turning for home?

I give up...what race was it? I searched every race and couldn't find him "standing up".

I always think that's why Derek Bell got banned from Tampa. He may not have fixed a race but he was the worst Jockey i ever saw in failing to ride out his mount consistently.

He was the Randy Moss of Jockeys at Canterbury. He rode whem he wanted to ride.

The horse was Bookmaster. Get copy of the photo for place. Coa's standing in the irons as Lopez rides low on Bold Mon to get 2nd by a nose.

The stewards fined Eibar Coa $1,000 for misjudging the finish line aboard Bookmaster in Wednesday's eighth race. Coa did not stand up on his mount before the wire, but he appeared to stop riding vigorously and was beaten a nose for second by Bold Mon
