great post. We should all be greatful that we live in the greatest country in the world. The majority of Americans take it for granted.
The luckiest thing that happens to most of us in this country occured the second we came out of the womb. We were born in a wealthy, free country.
Instead of comments like nascar's "now there will be less haitians to try to illegally enter our country now", we should be greatful for what we have and try to give to others who were not as lucky as we are. The children who are currently dying under the rubble in Haiti are no different than the children in school in Florida, right now enjoying recess and a nice meal. They were dealt a bad hand from the start.
