Yea gods! You're right! It's a massive conspiracy theory! It couldn't possibly be the sensitivity set of the scanners, or the known things that can false alarm them! The scanners are all fake, and operated by random buttons activated by agents! That's much more logical!
I've only flown about 350 times. Have you used the new machines? when they go off, it pinpoints an area where there is metal. On, me, its usually a piercing that sets it off. So they use a wand over my piercing and send me on my merry way. Thankfully, they dont check too much, because a few months ago i landed at my destination and realized there was half of a blunt in my purse. god i hate purses.
