And yes, women in Egypt do not enjoy the same rights as men but Egypt is a more westernized society than most Arab states. I will never defend the abuse of women, gays or any minority in any society...it is wrong, it is indefensible! Still, not all Muslims can be grouped together, it's not their religion that causes such violence but their failure to adhere to it's principles.
