End of life discussions? Planning directives on how a patient wants to be treated if they're unable to communicate that later on?
Scandalous stuff, I tell you!
Doctors and patients being responsible and smart, together talking about end of life care isn't really that big of a deal. Nobody ever said that wouldn't happen, because they'd have to be a total moron to think that because it's been happening forever, and it's the right conversation to have -- but of course, THAT wasn't what you meant by your subject line of this thread, because that would make far, far too much sense. The good news for Sarah Palin (and you, by starting this thread), is that now you all get to yell and scream and get paid attention to by idiots dim enough to believe that THIS article has anything at all to do with what you're all going to pretend it does.
Carry on!
