I've heard of a tight squeeze working out. It's not like it hasn't been done to great success since a horse doesn't always need a million weeks between races, but if he's got the mental issues it sounds like he does, surely a 19 horse field could be problematic for everyone. Is it just overblown or was he really about to go for a stroll in the infield? I'm having trouble watching the race right now so I can't see for myself. |
Not buying the Derby Trial Derby route, it simply doesn't happen anymore given the amount of time between starts. Derby Trail/Preakness though makes sense.
