i had a guy tell me he didn't like that mexican immigrants fly their flag. i told him i was very proud of my irish heritage, and if i flew that flag no one would care. why is mexico different? back a hundred years ago, it was a different story, with 'irish need not apply' signs everywhere. he was a reasonable fellow, and listened to what i had to say, and i did the same. i think both of us learned a bit from the conversation.

you and me both, so you arent the only one. It doesnt bother me at all if people decide to speak spanish. In fact I feel more Americans should try to be bilingual. or however its spelled. (though I am not and would love to learn spanish, i just keep putting it off)
