and yeah, phelps is in the news-but not to an extent that others, who haven't broken the law, have their faces splashed all over the place. the perception is that phelps is a good guy. but again, who knows for sure? it's all in how one is portrayed, and to this point, he's had it pretty easy. especially when you consider his dui-underage at that.

your first paragraph is pretty funny Ziggy!!
so the media made TO insinuate that Jeff Garcia was gay (If it looks like a rat.... ect),
Then the media made TO go after more money in Philly after they took a chance on a guy that most other teams wanted no part of.
The media made TO get into locker room fights (with Hugh Douglas) and call out Donovan McNabb after McNabb choked in the super bowl.
It was also the media's fault that TO was suspended from the eagles for a large part of the season and then kicked off the team for what Andy Reid said was "a large number of situations that accumulated over a long period of time."
Now in Dallas, the media forced T.O to open his big mouth again and call out yet another QB, his lover Tony Homo, because Homo likes to pass the ball to his BFF Whitten more than T.O... never mind the fact that T.O has had bigtime cases of butterfingers in Dallas.
The only owner in the NFL willing to take a chance with T.O is Jerry Jones, because quite frankly, Jerry Jones is crazy. But of course that is the media's fault also.
So, I guess I dont know what T.O is like in real life. I dont know what it is like to hang out with him. I dont want to know either. But I sure as heck dont need the media to tell me that T.O is a scumbag and a cancer to every team he has played on. And it would be laughable if the media treated him any different than how they do.
