I'm sticking to my vow to not bet the Breeders Cup in protest of the creation of b.s. races to puff up the two-day schedule in order to make more money, and in protest of "ladies day," which forces you to buy tickets for both days if you want to see the best fillies and mares as well as the best colts and horses, and in protest of the apparent intent to never run it anywhere, in the future, other than Santa Anita, Belmont and, maybe CD.
Incidentally, Jay Cronley also claimed, in his most recent article, that the mud was kind to him last year at Monmouth:
