I understand the money at stake from a breeding perspective, but dont these guys have all the money in the world already and wheres the sporting attitude? They talk a huge game but when it comes time for an opportunity to back up their big mouths, they bring up the breeding talk and money, and blah blah blah.

Its too bad breeding plays such a heavy role in the product that gets put out there for racing. It would be great to see this race and I am not a particularly huge fan of either horse.
If you really think about it, and I could be wrong, but they really have nothing to lose in running against Curlin, except getting their ego crushed.

If they lose to Curlin, which would probably happen, he is a 3 year old going up against older running against what will be the all time leading money earner

If they win though, they just beat the all time leading money winner, beat older, and probably enhanced their breeding value.

Massive mouths with little between the legs.....

Me personally, I would take Curlin and lay 4 lengths on a dirt surface, and if they faced on turf I would probably take Curlin and lay 1.5 lengths.
