The internal times at Gulfstream are at times suspect and the closing times are mostly insane. The times in this race were neither. They went the first 1/4 in 22.98 (just about 23) and the second quarter was 48.21.(48 1/5).
The next three calls were 1:11.97, 1:35.51,1:41.71. At Gulfstream these times are slow. That 25 and change break should have been enough of a breather for Dreaming of Anna to crush this field. Perhaps Audacious Chloe is a star in the making. A smart syndicate paid 300k for her.
