Every Saratoga meet brings back a flood of memories about my vacations during the summer on 7th Lake, Inlet NY, just north of Old Forge, south central Adirondacks. Oh to be a kid again. Patty as well spent her long vacations at her grandmothers house on Trout lake north of Fort Drum, near Gouverneur, NY, western Adirondacks. After we were married we visited her awesome grandmother at Trout lake several times. Truly wonderful and waking up to homemade bread, picking wild huckleberries (small blueberries) and raspberries from her garden for pies later . . . what else can I say.
