Update on Beulah Twins

Look folks, I am the last one to judge someone else on their looks (I am a bald toothpick with a hat who looks like Dale Jr with a hat, without a skinny Opie Taylor, bald at that) but got news for Beulah Park, winticket.com and all the followers and lovers of the Beulah twins -

They have gained a lot of mass. Just pay attention when you see them on the simulcast. Look, I have seen both in person and I got to tell ya - ain't no game in either house no more.

To be marketed the way they are, like some kind of sex kittens, still to this day - lmfao:p

You just ruined my day. And i thought the changes i noticed was just the myth of the TV adding a few pounds...

As long as they're bald too, does it matter?

I don't care how much money someone was offering...one tag I would not want is the "Beulah Park" twin...that's like saying you're an underwear model for the Dollar Store.

Perhaps it will help you with the burden of paying jockey's insurance.

I saw them in person at the Teletheater in Albany about a year ago. I believe both are in thier early to mid thirties, so that 20's looked tends to go the other way. They were still attractive though, it was either Katie or Jenna who was nursing a hangover from the night before from an appearance at Saratoga Harness. As I can remember, one did look a bit heavier than the other. It was a good time and all the older dudes were drooling over them.

I heard they took some rich old guy to the cleaners. (and I don't mean he was betting their picks) I think I like Katie or is it Jenna..

packerbacker7964 01-08-2007 06:17 PM

I'd do them. "I know you would Reggie-Ray" yeah it's the twin sister thing for me I guess. Just like in Austin Powers things to do before I die, twin sisters are on the list.

Which One Is The Better 'capper

I saw them jump out of the back of a limo with half the Ohio State Defensive line. Hair messed up, shoes off, looked like they had a rough night with Ohio State, probably not near as rough as its going to be on Florida tonight, GO BUCKS!!!

packerbacker7964 01-08-2007 11:16 PM

One of them spend most of the morning in the loo, paying homage to the porcelain god. Their "manager" said that travelling with them was the worst job he ever had.
I have no comment on their appearance as I'm fat, middle aged and grey haired.

Expose ain't the word...does the dollar store sell cellulite cream?

cmorioles 01-09-2007 09:45 AM

To be fair, I think one of them lost her husband in a motorcycle accident last year. I'm sure keeping fit wasn't her top priority.

Oh, I didn't know that and would not have said it if I did.

I'd still hit 'em both..:D

I saw one or both of them last year a few times. Most recently at River Downs when they came for a winticket.com promo. A little porcine perhaps, but not quite as expansive as they look on the simulcast monitor. They're not the tallest ladies in the world and to add a few pounds is to add a double chin for certain.

I think the one lost her husband in '05 in a motorcycle accident.

Never had a lengthy conversation with either. Outwardly they seem to be nice ladies. I'd guess early 30s or so. Little bit more ruddy than the painted dolls that appear on the tube.

All in all they are a very good call for Beulah Park. They've definitely popularized Beulah Park among the horseplayers. For a decrepit track Beulah has tried some innovative things -- winticket.com sprang up from there I believe. They've tried some new bets including the Fortune 6. It's a 25 cent Pick-6 and some horseplayer won $175k or so on it last year. Equivalent to a huge Pick-6 payout in CA if you extrapolate the payout based on the standard $2 bet.

Shoulda made the drive out there today thinking of it . . .
