Nice call Root! I just have tagged along, very nice hit.

The 4 was a reasonable horse...had a ton of speed and had been bet in all 6 six starts...never over 7-1. That tells you something. Why would it still get all that support after 6 tries?

Yep, Channing's last race out here, and all the sudden his horse is the only horse with run. Ain't like it's the first time the horse has tried the track. They've been having pretty reasonable RESULTS, but that's not a good sign. Horse just ran like sh-it. They work it fast, and putting Channing up, and it looks like an 8-5 shot. It's not a horrible animal, but there's no finish until tonite. Trainer was due to start bringing stuff in. Off comes the top of the jar. They are only gunna be so patient. It's competitive. What's the real penalty? Not much. He, and Espinoza are usually the trainer-jock juice pair though.

Nice job Root, I used the 4 with the 5 in the exacta as well, thanks for putting me in that direction!

He is a known juicer. That's why I was surprised when I saw he was 4% last week, and now he's won 2 races in a week. That's what Root was referring to("cagey" trainer.) He can win 5 races in 2 weeks. He gets "hot." Like I said, it looks like he "tried something" with this individual. Not his normal tired self late in the race. Funny how that just changes like that after all those starts where he's staggering late.

Rootdog1 05-16-2009 01:19 AM

exactly...you think they got their money back from betting him the prior 6 times.
