I'll stick with this. Flyers brought it tonight, that's for sure though. Different game Friday |

I started watching with 9 minutes left in the third. Byfuglyalien was acting like a timid little b.itch.

Great game. Both teams looked exhausted at the end of regulation.
|
i think leighton is getting a lot of breaks... 2 crucial posts in the first, only saw the first 2 goals by both teams and thought leighton let in some softies (especially the sopel goal)
the most important question is, who got the puck at the end of the game? -bt- |
It has been a great series regardless of whom you're rooting for. Finally a final with end to end action and no frigging trap.

I'm taking the Hawks +105
50/52.50 Hope I don't mush 'em. |
the middle in front of the ps goal is wide open no hawks..wtf

2 down 2 to go. Hawks fans starting to worry yet? It is fun to listen to 670 the score before games to hear the confidence and lack of respect for the orange and black. Another great game. Coburn has been outstanding in this series

I have a headache about as big as Ville Leino has been for us during this playoff run. Looking forward to the core of this team being together for a LONG time.
Hooves, if the Hawks top line continues to play like they have in the past two games, this series never makes it back to Chi-town for a 7th. At this rate, your team catches the flight home from game 6 a dejected bunch, more worried about tee times and if their butlers have been rummaging through their underwear drawers while they've been gone. |
Great win for the Flyers. It's not a sure thing but I have a feeling the Flyers will win game 5. It just seems like they got it going.
|
Jesus, could there be a worse goal song in the NHL then the Hawks song? 7 F'n times tonight (not including the one when they won the game). Almost as bad as that girl singin at the Belmont  :D.

The hawks looked fantastic to start yesterday, the flyers hung around but the hawks played an outstanding game and were just killing the flyers in the first period. Hopefully the flyers can get the win in philly and bring it back to Chicago for game 7. |
i like that song and why they play it.:tro:

as far as getting a goalie at deadline, i thought they should have made a push as well. But, they would have had to give up a pretty good size asset (money wise) to fit anyone under the cap. If i remember correctly they have been up against the cap pretty much all year, if they were to make a run at rolo they would have had to part with someone like hartnell, not just prospects and picks. Leighton basically stood on his head in the regular season, and all the flyers faithful were all about him, then the playoffs start and the wheels start coming off, now the bloom is off the rose and it shows why he's a 255K a year goalie who was picked up off of waivers from what then was the worst team in hockey, the carolina hurricanes. And as a caps fan i know this all too well, the whole part about the wheels falling off for a goalie in the playoffs, cue Jose Theodore. i've said it since the series started, leighton has been on borrowed times IMO for a while now. Hope he gets the start tonight though, what is like 5-0 at home in his last 5? -bt- |
