That Sky Classic sure wasn't much on the turf.

blackthroatedwind 06-16-2008 09:34 AM

Afleet sucked as well.

Like I said here are a select few about 1 every ten years. Whos the one for this decade. We got one for the 60s 80s 90s.

Hey coach I stuck up for you yesterday, now your gonna stick it to me today.

slotdirt 06-16-2008 09:36 AM

Soaring Free could run. I already mentioned Wild Desert. A Bit O'Gold wasn't altogether terrible either.

parsixfarms 06-16-2008 09:37 AM

Add in Jambalaya and Sky Conqueror from just last year.

There's a vote of self-confidence.

Come on, they only won three US Grade 1 races between them. Did they win any TC races?

slotdirt 06-16-2008 09:40 AM

Sky Conqueror? Come one, he only won a GI on turf last May. Couldn't you at least produce a Canadian-bred who won a GI race in the United States since yesterday? We all know Canadian breds have sucked from June 15-16, 2008.

And now, stage two, suck up to someone in hopes that you can find one ally in your indefensible struggle.

I would suggest cash as a final resort.

Coach Pants 06-16-2008 09:44 AM

Clearly having doubts about Einstein running in the Stephen Foster and the possible effects it could have on the rest of his campaign this year is equal to saying every horse out of Canada sux.

My apologies.

slotdirt 06-16-2008 09:45 AM

Arravale was a bum. She could only win one GI race against American fillies.

I didnt say everyone sucked. I said there are a select few that are good and I thank everyone for naming the 10 good ones.

Coach Pants 06-16-2008 09:48 AM

With Approval was a goat. It's a good thing I like him.

Hey With Approval, I think your funny.

slotdirt 06-16-2008 09:49 AM

I never realized becoming embedded in one's ass causes one to lose all sense of direction.

How about couldnt tell if it was day or night? Im still waiting for his response on this one.

slotdirt 06-16-2008 09:54 AM

If you really think BTW is up Kasept's hind end, you really haven't been reading the threads at Derbytrail very carefully. I can't think of a statement that is any further from the truth than that one.

slotdirt 06-16-2008 09:55 AM

Wait, I just thought of one though:

"Canadian horse racing is irrevelant." That tops it for me.

Oh wait, im sorry its the mecca of horse racing. Canadian influence on horse racing can be felt around the world. From... winning the ... to ???? wait I cant think of any influence it has globally. Its only relevent in Canada.

You just outdid yourself. It wasn't easy but you just made the final move from sublime to ridiculous.

Right, if anything I'm too harsh on poor Steve.

Yes so did Northern Dancer. There are some rather silly comments here and then some .

Yeah Chief Bearheart sure sucked!

Well said!

You're too harsh on poor me, too.

Also, I would actually prefer to see the Big Brown/Harlem Rocker debate settled on the internet as opposed to the racetrack.

Odds are 3/5 that will be the case.
