I agree with you completely on this one, regardless of the results of today. Today's race was horribly slow, especially considering a bunch of no-talent 35K N2L's went 1.3 seconds faster. However, it doesn't change that the stewards were once again inconsistent in their decisionmaking today, where a horse that has intefered with others and possibly (likely?) affected the outcome and didn't get taken down.

I'm probably the wrong person to comment on this as I bet the 2nd place finisher to win, so thanks for bringing this up. You never want to sound like sour grapes after a loss but I thought if Marie Rossa got a straight trip the finish would have been a nose either way, she lost some momentum no doubt. Really a tough call for the stewards to make but it seems Frankel does get his share of calls in N.Y.

Well, I can't explain to a trainer how boring this is for fans, because trainers get 10% of the 1st place money. It's not boring to you guys. It makes for a pretty useless race for us. One guy said pass the race. I would say pass the race. Joey tried to beat the Frankel, and lost. Your attitude is typical of trainers. They don't care if racing is that competitive. Short uncompetitive fields are in your best interest. Large competitive fields are in our best interest. Frankel's been jamming this chalk down people's throats in these bully situations forever. He is no friend of those wanting good competitive racing(again I don't expect you to care if the racing is very competitive.) Trainers n' fans have highly differing self interests.

We know the Breeders Cup is not smart.......watch the lack of talent that shows up this year because of the poly factor and make your own decision. The dead rail bias for the bikini blast obviously gave the winner an edge....

Are you absolutely 100% sure Frankel's horse wasn't going to lose? If so we were not watching the same race.
