UPS is appearing in far too many threads these days.

OBLIGATORY LAME UPS/BIG BROWN JOKES:

-Maybe the driver had to break from post 20.

-I guess the early pace was slower than expected.

-Perhaps the driver had a wide trip.

-I'll bet they still beat Monba.

Since the dispute is with the tracks and not the players, why not withhold horses from the tracks rather than go after the players?

i understand that these are the days of incompetence but do they have a legal leg to stand on or some loophole somewhere that says guarantee is just a "saying"

The difference is if CD cuts purses too drastically where there is an underpayment based upon our contractual %, they have to make up the difference (i.e. raise the purses) eventually.

So,you can't stop them from cutting purses, right? Unless you stop entering horses, right? Why have the discussion then? I would certainly expect them to want to delay paying people that are keeping some of their customers from betting. I don't think it makes sense for trainers etc. to think a track is gunna keep paying them the same purses while they block internet players. How does that make any sense? Just take your hit like anybody else that wants to strike. Hit your buddy Andruw Jones up for a loan.

LOL...They want to get paid while also being on strike. This is the way to do that. For internet players, they've shut down Churchill. Can't legally bet Churchill. They've chosen to f over a few bettors, and leave the others alone. It's a chickenshit way of having a strike. They obviously think most internet players have the attention span of a flea (and will return to play Churchill.) We (for sure) aren't being treated like their customers. I'd say they are treating us like their bitch.
