Only if you take it out of context.

You acted as though you handicapped the race and couldn't make a case for a mid-priced horse. I am suggesting that I am looking forward to betting against an odds-on favorite who has dressed up form. Two very different scenerios.

How did I act as if anything? The odds of the horses in the races played no factor in what I said. And u trying to make it seem like u were talking only about betting against her is very weak. U were very clear in your analysis, saying she was hopeless here. The scenarios are the same. U know Ginger Punch and u know what's likely to be in the race against her and u don't like her chances. Same with me and Fabulous Strike in the Vosburgh.

Is this taking into consideration just how bad the Distaff division is? Possibles for the race are; Balance, Indian Vale, Miss Shop, Mo Cuishle, and Unbridled Belle.

Balance and Indian Vale, and even Unbridled Belle, are considerably better than the field for the Ruffian. I suppose Ginger Punch can win but I have certainly been looking forward to a reasonable spot to bet against her. As things stand now this looks like it. But, you never know.

Obviously she's a horse who has built a reputation that I don't think is justified. Maybe when I look at the pps I will feel differently.

Haven't seen a backslide like that since Michael Jackson moonwalked during the Motown 25 celebration show.

I would like to say that I totally agree with u on Ginger Punch. I've been waiting and waiting for the bubble to burst on this one.

Sorry that in an effort to defend yourself you can't see the difference between what I said earlier and my thinking a vulnerable odds-on favorite makes for " a good betting race. "

I don't need PPs to know I'll be playing Unbridled Belle. Otherwise she might eat me.

I'm going to wait until Purina posts her picks before I decide.

Yes, but since the big races aren't until Sunday we are filming tomorrow night and it won't be up until around noon on Saturday. I'll still try to talk a little about Saturday but I'm going to focus on Belmont Sunday.

Street Sense will now be favored and whichever of the the other 4 contenders you like take the 5-1 or higher and go to the window.
